The conversations explored in this publication are not new. For myself and for many Black women working in the nonprofit field, particularly in the gender-based violence movement, these realities have been lived, navigated, and named for decades. Yet meaningful change requires more than awareness. It requires a willingness to pause, reflect, and take thoughtful action.
